PAINTING AND WRITING IN WEST CORK

Never really thought of myself as a country girl but living and working in the countryside in Ireland has been great for my creative life. Ireland is described as the Land of Poets and Scholars and fittingly, it is here that I started to write.  I am in the process of finishing the first draft of a novel and I also write poetry and make poem films. County Cork is full of writers and artists and I am a member of The Cork Prose Collective and One World Poetry Group.
